Step 4: Plan Your Sprint Schedule
The Scrum Master schedules a series of "sprints." Think of a sprint as a cycle that you'll repeat many times leading up to your wedding. Each cycle starts with a planning meeting and ends with a review and retrospective. There may be some additional meetings in between.
We recommend one-month long sprints if your wedding is more than 12 months away. Once you're under the year mark, two-week sprints might work well. Depending on the size and complexity of your wedding, you might switch to weekly sprints at three to five months out. Your last two weeks might be made up of daily sprints.
SCRUM MASTER TIP - As the sprints get shorter, so do the meetings. The planning meeting for a month-long sprint might last two hours. But once you get to daily sprints, the planning meeting might only be 10 minutes long.
